Far cry 6 is more new dawn as far cry 5 is more to far cry 3.. to me, Not a fan myself of 6 or new dawn and I dont think the game received hate, maybe just more of a been there done that kind of thing as with most in FC games in the last few years. Same with far cry 5. And far cry 4. People always shit on new games.
Far Cry 5 is known for having those strange multicore performance shenanigans. Check this out ( source ) and also this . It's like the game doesn't really "like" HTT/SMT and in result - 4c/4t beats 4c/8t which is a bit disappointing for a game released in 2018.
