Oct 26, 2013. #1. Just got a L200 and it won't engage 4wd. I move the transfer lever into 4h and the light on the dash keeps flashing but its not engaged. I jacked it up and when i put it into 4h it connects the drive to the front propshaft but no drive from the diff. So after all that my question is, Is there something that engages in the

So my L200 has finally decided to play up, after 4.5 years and 46K miles without a single issue, it now doesn't like to go into 4WD mode, and when finally shifts to 4WD doesn't like to shift back to 2WD, using the "new" fangled so called 'super select' electronic control. Diff lock switch showing nothing in both positions . rear axle is not diff locked. 4WD HI . Diff lock switch indication unlit so indicating off . back axle drags wheel when turning. 4WD HI . Diff lock switch indication Green so indicating on . back axle drags wheel when turning. 4WD LOW . There are four modes: 2H – 4H – 4H LC – 4L LC 2H is two wheel drive, specifically the rears only. 4H is 4X4, driving all four wheels, but in an all-wheel-drive mode that is safe to use on wGq19TH.
