Jedi: Fallen order is a wonderful game, with a few minor faults, especially if you are trying to 100% it. Hoping the sequel builds on that excellent foundation, fixes the combat, map and adds fast
It builds on the gameplay of the first in all the right ways. Maps are great in comparison to Fallen Order, Cal feels way less clunky to move, fighting feels way snappier. There's way more dialouge with side characters in this game which is nice if you enjoyed the side lore in the first game.

I'm not sure about the whole situation, but it looks like what you're trying to install is the Deluxe Edition add-on upgrade (adding some skins and bonus features), not the PS5 version upgrade. Try searching in the PlayStation Store, dig into dropdown menus, and make sure whatever you end up downloading says "PS5 Version" somewhere.

It's not quite like Souls, significantly more forgiving. If you're not a fan of Star Wars I would probably pass on it, personally. It's a good game but it wears its Star Wars heritage on its sleeve. Worked for me! Played fallen order on PS4 in may and beat it. Just got PS5 today and I could pick up where I left off at my 94% save file, and started a NG+. On PS4 I uploaded game save data to cloud, on PS5 I downloaded cloud data to system storage. Then I put fallen order disk in PS5 and downloaded it. Opened it on PS5 just as I left it on PS4.
The PS5 version have some issues that haven't been patched: you're unable to change outfits in New Journey+ (which is the whole point of that mode, as you only carry over cosmetics); photo mode is fatally bugged (weird distracting artifacts appear on hair and clothes); and the haptic implementation is minimal and generally just turns up the usTmt6o.
