Chill 2 cocktail glasses in the freezer 10 minutes ahead of time. Combine the gin, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. 4 oz gin, 1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed, 1 oz simple syrup. Add a cup of ice and shake for 30 seconds. Double strain and pour into chilled coupe glasses.
How to make: SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass. 1 2/3 fl oz. Patrón Silver blanco tequila. 1/3 fl oz. Del Maguey Vida Clásico mezcal. 1/3 fl oz. Lime cordial (sweetened lime juice) 1/6 fl oz.
A Gimlet in its simplest form is Gin combined with a mixture of fresh lime juice and simple syrup. The origins of the Gimlet are contentious but the drink itself is generally assumed to have emerged during the late 1920's. The Gimlet is clearly British in origin, likely due to their fondness of Gin cocktails. iWp92iD.
