alanwake 2 is a huge fuck up of epic proportions. It’s a detective simulator first, with basic combat e second. Forewarning The Alan Wake DLC is great for Alan Wake fans, extremely underwhelming from a gameplay/content perspective. As he tries to write his way out, hoping to create a way out, the dark presence twists his writing into a horror story that unfolds around him-- echoing the idea of the trailer, that you can be hopeful going into a story but the end product is a monster.
