The current issues with the PD that seem to be getting talked about are: 1) Injectors. This only affects the 170PS engine. It shouldn't be a major concern as Skoda UK are replacing these free of charge on all Octavia's, even those out of warranty, without proven service history or with high mileage/modified cars.

1.9 tdi 105 CP pus din 2006+ pe g5 este BXE cu probleme la pistoane iesite prin blocul motor, de la o ungere defricitara. 1.9 tdi 105 CP cu filtru de particule pus din 2008+ cred ca e BJB. 2.0 tdi BKD 140 cp cu chiuloasa care se fisureaza daca are cod motor care se termina in A sau B. Daca te termina in litera C nu mai crapa.
