I expect we will get the free upgrade to 10. I also have issue with the free space and I was wondering how much will be needed to upgrade. I only have 2 gb free. I am expecting to have to do a factory reset to get enough disk space to do the upgrade. Once 10 is installed, though, it is supposed to have a smaller footprint due to compression.

Update your version of Windows. If your current version of Windows is not up to date, you won't be able to install Windows 10. In Windows 7, you should be running service pack 1.
